I referenced the Waterfield Designs Catch Wallet in a prior post and thought I would write a review on the Waterfield Designs Finn Wallet, which is a slightly redesigned, leather version of their Catch Wallet. (Sadly, the Catch Wallet has been retired.)
The Finn Wallet is made by Waterfield Designs, which is a company based out of San Francisco. Everything about this wallet is not only very well made, it is also made in the US. The wallet is made of high quality, full-grain leather that is buttery smooth and flexible. What is distinctive about this wallet is the 2-sided zip around design. I find that the zip closure works best for me as it keeps everything contained with no fear of anything falling out. There are also pockets on the inside that are very useful for cards and coins.
The Finn Wallet is my everyday wallet and it fits my needs perfectly. Below I’ll show some close-up shots and give some commentary of what I put in my wallet.
As you can see, the design is very simple. The outside is one piece of leather.
The 4.75 inch length makes it a good fit for cards and cash.
The height is 3 inches and is only slightly taller than folded cash, making it a perfect fit.
In the top view you can see how thin the wallet is and how how the zipper seems to blend into the wallet. The design is simple, sleek and understated.
I wanted to provide a close up of the zipper so you can see the YKK mark on the tab. YKK zippers are the best quality, longest lasting zippers on the market.

It is found purchase levitra that women who are suffering from infertility, ovulation dysfunction is the culprit. Here’s the half zip view. It’s worth noting that these are locking zippers, which means if you try to push the zipper open with your finger instead of grabbing the pull tab, the zipper will not open. This feature prevents zipper creep and keeps your contents very secure.
The inside has a large main pocket in the center and 2 smaller side pockets. I keep cash and frequently used cards in the middle. This can fit a very large wad of cash. I’ve had more than 20 bills in here. All my receipts, ticket stubs (and lotto tickets) get shoved in the main area as well.
Here is a close up of the right-inside pocket. I store change in this pocket. When zipped up and turned upside down, the change does NOT come out of that pocket <– Brilliant. Some people are bothered by the label on the inside but it doesn’t bother me at all. Take a close look a the ballistic nylon that fully lines the inside. To say this material is tough is an understatement.
Here’s the left pocket. I store less frequently used cards in this pocket. I can fit about 6 cards + a $50 bill folded in thirds and a blank check in this pocket. Isn’t the ballistic nylon just beautiful?? Look at how beautifully stitched the inside is!
Finally, the bottom of the wallet is also made of the ballistic nylon for durability.
On the Waterfield Designs website (link provided below), you’ll find 4 different sizes of this amazing wallet. They are sized to fit the Iphone, Android phones as well as a passport. It comes is about 6 different colors.
This is an incredible wallet. I’m so happy I found it. The whole wallet is not only thoughtfully made, it’s functional, tough and beautiful. As of this writing, the Finn wallet retails for $39.
