- Titanium – it’s indestructible and light (3.9oz)
- Double-walled – keeps your beverage hot longer, less chance of scalding your hands
- Silicone covered, foldable handles – the silicone on the handles makes it so they are never too hot to pick up and you just fold them flush against the cup when you’re done.
- Size – perfect .3L (10oz) size
- Cap – I think I got the ONE cap that they made perfectly. (Lots of bad reviews on the cap.) Mine fits nicely, never leaked even once.

The folding handles are lined with a light pink silicone. This provides insulation against the heat as you are holding it. The handles pivot smoothly and are very solidly attached to the cup. Handles fold flush against the cup.

This mug has been with me on every backpacking and camping trip I’ve taken since I bought it close to 10 years ago. It has a few war wounds but no dents.
Unfortunately, REI doesn’t make this mug anymore. Honestly, I think so many people complained about the cap that they just stopped making it. Snow Peak makes a similar double-walled titanium mug but to my knowledge, no other company has made one with a sipping lid.
