Blackberry’s features and technology fit my lifestyle nearly perfectly. I need my mobile phone to help me communicate with the world. The fact of the matter is that as long as RIM continues to leverage their core competencies, they will always have loyal users like me.
Blackberry strengths
- Call quality – I’ve owned a lot of phones over the years and Nokia non-smartphones and Blackberry smartphones have the best call quality.
- Physical keyboard – Blackberry makes the best physical keyboard – bar none. I find no satisfaction in touch typing on a piece of glass. There’s nothing wrong with touch typing, it’s just not comfortable for anything beyond a few words.
- Email, Text, Chat powerhouse – Combined with the awesome keyboard, communicating via email, text, chat, etc. is fast, fluid and productive….not to mention satisfying.
- Crackberry.com – an online community of insanely loyal blackberry enthusiasts…love it.

- Twitter – My main source of news
- Meterberry – Battery, memory and detailed device info
- Facebook – Keeps me connected with Friends & Family
- Trip IT – App that keeps my travel organized and in one spot – airline, hotel and car rental detail
Quite frankly, the number one blackberry feature I just can’t live without is the damn blinking light on the front of the phone. It’s the cracklight on the crackberry.
